A New York Story · A Greek Tragedy
Returning to New York’s Lower East Side after a self-imposed exile, artist Val Shepard finds his career is in decline, his girlfriend has married, and his old studio is now occupied by the enigmatic Jackson King, known as Mr. Jack. Val forms a friendship with Jackson and, by living vicariously through him, sets a series of events in motion that will go on to destroy all that he loves and cherishes.
"Not drama. Not performance. The thing underneath — the moment where two people are so close to the truth they can feel it, and still can't reach it." — Mick Lexington, Writer/Director
